Alissa Grimaldi is a soprano who has performed the major operatic roles as well as having appeared in musical theater. She has extensive experience as an actress and a dancer as well as a singer. Alissa is a vocal technician with over twenty years of experience using a student-focused technique. She received her academic training at Sacramento State and has studied in the studio of Jacqueline Victorino.

ABOUT ALISSA
Alissa Grimaldi began her career in Ancón, Zona del Canal de Panamá performing as a soloist in Acrobatics, Ballet, and Tap. After moving to California she added Jazz to her dancing skills and studied drama at the Ben Bard School of Acting in Beverly Hills.
Her extensive theatre credits include Amanda, Private Lives; Lisa, Man in the Gray Flannel Suit; Nora, A Doll’s House; Annabelle, Annabelle Broom; Filumena, Filumena; Amanda, Time Remembered; and Colombine,Colombine and Pierrott.
Her musical theater roles include: Maria,West Side Story; Eliza, My Fair Lady; Desiree, A Little Night Music; Ursula Merkle, Bye Bye Birdie; Kitty, Kitty Leroy; Bonnie, The Princess Bonnie; Gasparina, La Canterina; Mary, Casey At The Bat; and Tuptim, The King and I.

Through her study with Jacqueline Victorino in Sacramento, California Alissa developed a student-focused technical approach to singing she applies to her own vocal studio. She is a vocal technician who regularly conducts master classes in Park City, Utah, has presented master classes at the Classical Singer Convention in NYC, and co-directed the Singers Studio for Opera in NYC. Her credits as a stage director include full productions of La Bohème, and Die Fledermaus, and scenes from La Traviata and Manon among others. Her students have won major awards and work with leading opera companies in the United States and Europe.
